Sure, here we go!

So, check this out. ININ Games and Smallthing Studios are bringing back Simon the Sorcerer Origins, coming soon to the Nintendo Switch. Yeah, it’s a prequel. I think it’s set just a smidge—maybe a few weeks?—before that first game everyone seems to love. Always cool to see where it all began, right?
The style’s super quirky and cartoon-ish, just how I like my games, honestly. They’ve packed in all these smooth real-time bits and maybe tossed in some magic and puzzles. Imagine that! Supposedly, they’re tying it all together with a storyline that’s gonna spill the tea on some of the mysteries folks have been buzzing about since the first game. Can’t wait to see what that’s all about.
Oh, and get this—Simon’s got the OG voice actors back, so if you remember Chris Barrie and Erik Borner doing their thing in English and German, respectively, you’re in luck. And hold on, here’s a blast from the past—Rick Astley, the guy who’s never gonna give us up (still can’t get that tune outta my head), is jumping in with his song “Together Forever” for the soundtrack. Wild, huh?
Mark your calendars or use one of those fancy reminder apps because Simon the Sorcerer Origins is hitting the shelves and the Nintendo eShop worldwide on October 28, 2025. Can you believe it? Feels so far yet so close.
Anyway—or wait, was I supposed to mention something else? Ah well, that’s about it!
