Sure, here it goes:

So, there’s this game called Arken Age. Don’t ask me why, but it just sticks in my brain—I can’t help it. It first popped up earlier this year on PSVR 2 and PC VR. And guess what? Come November, it’ll hit Quest 3 and Quest 3S. When I first played it, I remember thinking, “Whoa, this might just be one of the coolest solo games around.” Not even kidding. The Quest version? Surprisingly slick-looking. I mean, just look at the trailer, right? It’s kind of awesome, even if that’s all you’ve seen.
The game feels like it was made by folks who, you know, actually play VR games. You get these echoes of Stormland—2019 vibes there—and Lone Echo, oldies but goodies from 2017. They’re the kind of games that let you really get hands-on and sucked in. Immersion levels are off the charts.
Now, about Arken Age’s stuff. There’s combat—both from a distance and up close—and then there’s climbing. Lots of it. Verticality, or whatever they call it. It’s all there because the game works these two big ideas, embodiment and diegetic design. Fancy words, but you get the point, right? Gets you feeling like you’re right there, in the thick of it.
Graphically, this game’s got some juice too. Better than your average VR game. Even when shifted over to Quest, it holds up. Some games totally flop when they get ported, but this one? Nah, looks pretty solid. Maybe it’s because it’s tapping into the beefier Quest 3 and 3S. Quest 2? Sorry, you’re old news.
Alright, so if you’re on board, they’re dropping it in just a couple months. November. No word on price yet, which is kind of annoying. But hey, you can wishlist it on the Horizon store if you’re that pumped about it. Anyway—where was I?—oh right, keep an eye out for it.
