Xbox’s Gears of War: Reloaded is almost making its way back into the spotlight—finally landing on a PlayStation console! Crazy, right? This game is nearly 20 years old. Yet, somehow, it’s clawing enough space on our sleek PS5’s. And I mean, quite a bit of space!
So, how much will this bad boy eat up on your PS5? According to the PlayStation Game Size X account—those folks have an uncanny knack for guessing these things—Gears of War: Reloaded is gonna be a solid 63.103 GB. Oh, and don’t forget there’s a Day-1 update. Yep, of course there is. Technology, huh?
Preordering? You can start preloading on August 21. That means you can twiddle your thumbs for five days (or do something productive, maybe?) until the release on August 26 at 11 a.m. ET. Oh, and grab it on the PS Store for $39.99 if you’re interested. Not a bad deal, I guess?
And Marcus Fenix? That saga with the Locust is finally strolling onto PlayStation turf. This remaster includes all the fancy bits: up to 4K res, 120 FPS support, cross-play, cross-progression, VRR, even zero loading screens during the Campaign. Oh, the PS5 version is souped up for the PS5 Pro, by the way.
Flashback to the past 20 years of Gears—the friendships, the battles, and the oh-so many memories—reminiscing time, yeah? With Reloaded, they’re just flinging open the doors to, well, everyone.
Those Gears of War PS5 rumors? Floating around like whispers in the wind for ages. People even speculated a Gears of War Collection with the first three games would hit PS5. But alas, here we are.
