Marvel Rivals, huh? So, some players are a bit miffed over this whole matchmaking thing that’s rolling out with Season 3.5. NetEase thought it’d be a good idea, but oh boy, the players? Not so much. Apparently, they’re tweaking things to keep folks interested—always gotta keep things fresh, right?
The big talk is all about ranked play. Yeah, they’re saying if you’re hanging out in Platinum or up, you can’t play in those big five-person squads anymore. Which seems kinda weird, right? I mean, I get that they want to avoid “massive stacks,” whatever that even means. But people are bummed. Loads of comments on Reddit, like true digital tears. Users, like this one guy ‘smaughh’ I think, said it’s just…odd.
Oh, and they dropped this Jean Grey/Phoenix thing. Super cool! But back to the matchmaking—serious drama there, especially with those higher ranks. Platinum and up have to go with just three mates. And don’t even get me started on the Celestial folks—only two per team. Bummer, right?
But hey, they’ve got new stuff too. Like, Blade is joining the party, and he’s gonna team up with Moon Knight and Cloak and Dagger—I’d definitely tune in for that. And skins! There’s a new symbiote look for The Thing, which, dare I say, is pretty snazzy.
Anyway, these updates are stirring the pot, players are all over the place with their opinions. Could this lead to a bunch of smurf accounts? Maybe. Guess we’ll see when it all kicks off on August 8.
