Woke up today with that nagging urge to check out, you know, the whole Nintendo hype. Apparently, Best Buy’s got a fresh batch of Nintendo Switch 2 consoles back online. Yeah, been like finding a needle in a haystack since they dropped. Crazy, right? Everyone and their grandma seems to want this thing. It’s disappeared from shelves faster than my patience on a Monday.
So, about those restocks. It’s like, you blink — boom, gone. If you’ve not been glued to stock alerts, good luck. But hey, now’s your shot to snag one before you’re off to college. Gotta have those late-night gaming marathons after pretending to study all day.
Okay, Best Buy. They’ve got a stash, but don’t ask me how many. No crystal ball here. You should be able to snag one online now-ish, but hitting up a store might be dicey. They’ve got both the plain Switch 2 and a bundle with Mario Kart World — you’re looking at $449 and $499 respectively. Oh, and there’s that new Pokémon Legends thingy, but it’s still in pre-order limbo.
Let’s talk specs — the Switch 2 ditched the old screen for a 7.9-inch new one. It jumps from 720p to a crisp 1080p. Fancy, huh? Docked, you can get a whopping 4K on your TV. Wondering if I need a new TV now. Anyway, handheld, it promises 120 fps with HDR. Whatever that means for mere mortals like us.
But yeah, these consoles are slipping onto shelves more often if you’re lucky. No bargains here though, just straight MSRP. If you see prices hiking, chill out and wait.
Oh, and if you’re penny-pinching, we’ve got loads of tech deals. PCs, SSDs, you name it. If you’ve stuck around this long, happy hunting!
