Okay, so here’s the thing. Today was the big THQ Nordic Digital Showcase Event. And wow, did we see a bunch of stuff. Games were just flying at us — Reanimal, Tides of Tomorrow, The Eternal Life of Goldman, all sorts of other goodies. Oh, and by the way, they tossed out a new Gothic 1 Remake demo. Xbox folks? Dive right in today if that’s your thing. Just saying.
Here’s kinda what went down, if you’re into recaps. It was a jumble of news, mostly aimed at Xbox players, but hey, there’s something for everyone, right?
**SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide?! What?!**
Yep, pre-orders are open folks! Get your Xbox Series X|S ready for November 18 this year. It’s another wild undersea adventure in Bikini Bottom — and you can switch between Patrick and SpongeBob. David Hasselhoff’s in on it too. (Honestly, does he ever sleep?) Fans have been nagging for this switchy feature apparently.
Anyway, pre-order now for this Natural Costume Pack DLC bonus. There are like, multiple editions? Ghostly Digital or Ultimate. They toss in the Tidal Season Pass or whatever, so there’s more DLC stuff. You’re in for a treat. I think.
**Gothic Remake Demo, Anybody?**
Dive into the Valley of the Mines (sounds kind of ominous, right?) with the Gothic Remake demo. Head to the Nyras Prologue and feel the Colony vibes. No spoilers included, thank goodness. Kind of a huge RPG deal apparently, for those Gothic-type fans. Full game coming later, but hey, take a bite now. FYI, Classics 1, 2, and 3 are making their way to Xbox Series X|S in 2026 too.
**Fresh Peek at The Eternal Life of Goldman**
New trailer alert! Our pal Goldman is back, and it’s a bit of a dark, twisty platformer. Seems vibrant yet, kinda gloomy. You’ve gotta have a steady hand, and a love for exploration. Intriguing story vibe, rich characters, basically begs you to get lost in it.
**Reanimal Gameplay – What Even is This?**
Bam! Another horror adventure. Do you remember Little Nightmares? Yeah, from those creators. New trailer, new spooky settings. Monsters and pals of these poor orphan siblings — journey, survival, frantic, all the feels. It’s co-op too. Couch or online — choose your drama.
**Tides of Tomorrow – Uncharted Waters…Literally**
Developer Digixart (Route 96 gang) dropped their two cents — asynchronous gameplay with mind-boggling storytelling. You’re steering decisions in a colorful, post-apocalyptic zone. You decide the fate, no pressure or anything. Wild, right?
**Hold onto Your Helmets – Wreckfest 2 Incoming**
Remember smashing cars? Well, Wreckfest 2’s finally happening. Racers get to bash and crash with realism in mind. That’s coming to Xbox Series X|S, not just yet though. Patience, friends.
**Titan Quest II – Myths ahoy!**
2026, mark it down. Get your questing paws ready. It’s hack-n-slash, loot-loot-loot, and customization galore. Venture ancient Greek realms (cue epic music), face beasts, legends, gods? Maybe. Don’t quote me. Create a hero of your own, mythology wrapped in adventure.
**Wreckreation – Mad Racing World**
From the inventive souls behind Burnout. Picture arcade racing with DIY roads. Pick from 60 cars and the Game DJ lets you play with the mix — music, vehicles, weather, everything. Build your own crazy racetrack on the fly: dinosaurs included. Trailer dropped, challenges look hilarious, coming to Xbox Series X|S whenever it decides to.
Almost forgot — Gamescom’s at month-end. Expect Reanimal and SpongeBob action up close. Dev reps are there too. Are they letting folks in on their creative madness? Maybe. Grab coffee with them if you’re there.
