Alright, so, get this. Just when you think you’re all set for gamescom 2025, the folks over at inZOI throw another curveball into the mix. Like we weren’t already buzzing about last week’s juicy DLC news, right? But here’s the kicker — now they’re saying the game’s hitting PlayStation 5. Wild, huh?
Anyway, Krafton, you know them… the brains behind this life sim wonder, yeah, they’ve dropped the bomb that soon you’ll be living your best virtual life on PS5. Why they had to spill the beans now? Beats me. Maybe there’s some hidden surprise they’re saving for later. Fingers crossed!
So, what’s the deal with PS5? Well, they didn’t spill much. It’s more like, “Hey, yeah, the port exists.” No date yet, but 2026 seems to be the lucky year. They’re promising it’ll be “optimised for console,” whatever that means. Fingers crossed that it doesn’t end up being just fancy marketing jargon.
Oh, oh, and controls! That’s gonna be a head-scratcher, right? I mean, switching from keyboard to a controller can be like trying to type with oven mitts. Krafton swears they’ve sorted it, though, along with other stuff like game performance. So, maybe that’s a good sign?
Here’s a fun tidbit, or maybe not. inZOI’s hanging out in Steam Early Access right now. Will PS5 players get the same buggy beta experience? No clue, and Krafton’s keeping mum on that. It’s rare for PlayStation to do the whole early access thing, so maybe they’re waiting for the grand PC debut before letting console players in on the fun.
Oh, and before I forget — side note — Krafton’s also bringing the game to Mac OS around August 20. Conveniently alongside some island-themed DLC. Pretty neat, huh? If you’re curious, there’s a cheats list update floating around somewhere too.
And that’s the round-up. Games are wild these days, right?
