Okay, so get this—FromSoftware is on a roll again! These guys, after the whole big bang with Elden Ring Nightreign, said they’d drop a duos mode and—wait for it—“enhanced fights” against these Nightlord dudes. Didn’t see that coming, right?
Now, the duos thing? Still waiting for it. BUT we finally got a peek at these beefed-up Nightlord brawls. Just sneaked in there with no fanfare, like a surprise pizza delivery you forgot you ordered. No announcement, just BOOM—there it is.
Yesterday, out of the blue, someone logged in and—whoops, there’s the first boss! FromSoft called these bad boys Everdark Sovereigns. Sounds intense, huh? They’re like Nightlords’ evil big brothers or something—way more challenging.
Every week, some new Everdark Sovereign will roll out. To even try your luck against these guys, you gotta have already whooped the original Nightlord’s butt. And currently, Sovereign of Gaping Jaws (Adel) is the spotlight stealer. But wait, don’t get too comfy—next week, it’s the Sentient Pest. Darkdrift Knight’s lined up after that. It’s like a boss lineup to give you nightmares, but somehow it’s thrilling? Not sure what that says about us gamers, really.
Oh, and they’re cooking up more Sovereigns. Anybody ready for Tricephalos or Equilibrious Beast? Hmm. It’s like lining up the weirdest zoo animals ever. Anyways, Adel’s sticking around till June 25th—mark your calendars or don’t. Up to you.
Oh, and the plot thickens! There’s this new NPC. Think of them like a mix of a shopkeeper and your high school bestie who traded rare collectibles with you. You beat a Sovereign Nightlord? You get these Sovereign Sigils. Trade ’em with this NPC for Relics and goodies. It’s like a mini party every time you win—who doesn’t love that?
This NPC also pulls some magic with Nightreign’s Shifting Earth / Map Events. Too tired (read: lazy) to fight three Nightlords? No worries, just flash those Sovereign Sigils, and bam—instant event change.
I bet there’s more to dig up as folks spend more time in this epic slugfest. If you plan to throw down with all these Nightlords, our weaknesses guide might just save you from a rage quit or two. But hey, if you know it all, our Elden Ring Nightreign guide is your trusty sidekick.
Anyway, there I went on a tangent again about sovereigns and gaming escapades—hope you find it as thrilling as I did!
