Alright, so what’s happening in Monster Hunter Wilds with this update? Ah, right—the Leviathan, Lagiacrus, is finally back! It’s this major sea creature causing all sorts of chaos, literally electrifying the waters. Hunters at Rank 31 and up, after ticking off the main “A World Turned Upside Down” mission and the “Forest Doshaguma” side mission or something, get to try their luck battling this beast. Yep, you’re mostly fighting on land, but get ready for some underwater chaos too. But honestly, fighting underwater just sounds like a nightmare. Stay sharp!

And hey, there’s more! Seregios, the Flying Wyvern, all flashy and dangerous, joins the chaos in this update too. This creature is flinging sharp scales that’ll have you bleeding if you’re not careful. Stock up on rations and good ol’ steak before you dive in, and try to stay in one piece! Missions for this guy are open for those at HR 31 who’ve also tackled the same main mission I babbled about before.

For the hunters craving something really tricky, there’s an 8★ version of Lagiacrus and Seregios. Good luck with that, seriously.

Want to style it up? Free Title Update 2 introduces Layered Weapons. It’s like—use whatever weapon look you love without letting go of the best stats. To unlock these cool looks, you gotta craft the final weapon in any upgrade chain or fully reinforce a Rarity 8 Artian weapon. Sprinkle in some pre-upgrade designs too if that’s your vibe!

Switch it up with choice of handlers—Eric can step in after the Lagiacrus thing. You can always go back to Alma. Maybe Eric’s a cool dude, who knows, right?

More on the “support” front, Mina is another recruit for Sword & Shield wielding support hunters. Free Title Update 2 lets you pick who’s tagging along on those hunts.

Flash forward to photo mode—now with more creative options. The Effects tab spices up your snaps with new filters and brightness tweaks. Flip off your Handler, Palico, Seikret, for a clean shot. Whatever you like!

Don’t forget to party it up, there’s the Festival of Accord: Flamefete from July 23 to August 6. New armor, gestures, pop-up camp decorations—summer style! Check out the Grand Hub’s event meals and festive outfits. Keep cool, or maybe just look cool.

And then Arch-Tempered Uth Duna. Event Quest and Free Challenge Quest starting July 30, but really, it sounds brutal. Craft new armor sets if you’re tough enough. Just make sure HR 50 is under your belt beforehand.

Quests, quests, and more action are lined up. Special experiments to get new gear and armor spheres. Brace for all the Mizutsune action laid out.
