Well, I remember the buzz around Stellar Blade last year. It kinda came outta nowhere, right? Anyway, folks were pretty smitten, and now Shift Up is like, “Hey, let’s keep this rollercoaster going!” They’re cooking up a PC version and something called a Complete Edition. Whatever that means.
So, about this release thing — the official PlayStation channel goofed and let a trailer slip out. Oops! Of course, it got yanked real quick, but not before some savvy fans snatched it up and tossed it onto the Stellar Blade subreddit. So now we know! June 11 is the big day for the PC launch and Complete Edition for both PS5 and PC. A two-for-one kinda deal.
And what’s all inside this Complete Edition box? The whole shebang, apparently. The game, a Planet Diving Suit for Eve (which sounds slick, if you ask me), some Fluffy Bear Pack Drone stuff, plus DLC from Nikke and Nier: Automata. Oh, and if you preorder, you get cool stuff like Classic Round Glasses, Ear Armor Earrings, and a white version of that Planet Diving Suit for Eve. Fancy.
As for cost? Total mystery right now. Video got leaked, so maybe we’ll hear soon. Patience, I guess.
When it first dropped, critics were nodding approval. It snagged an 81 on Metacritic from 134 reviews. Not too shabby! Even got some love during awards season. The Game Awards gave it a nod, and it scooped up a Platinum trophy for Best New Character in the PS Blog’s Game of the Year Awards.
Oh, and sales? Through the roof, apparently. Shift Up was so stoked they handed out 5 million won bonuses to all their employees — that’s about $3,400 US, plus a crisp new PS5 Pro. What a way to cash in on some good vibes, right?
