### How to Join the Battle
Jumping into the fray is easy, provided you have a Nintendo Account set to one of the eligible countries, along with a live Nintendo Switch Online membership. Whether you’re on a paid membership or enjoying a free trial, both are acceptable. With the game fired up on your Nintendo Switch, navigate through — just tap “Online” and then “Official Tourney Qualifiers” to secure your spot in the tournament.
### Chasing that Tourney Score
Tourney scores are what set these events apart, measuring your prowess based on match outcomes and the strength of your opponents. Check your score at any point within the game during the event. Feel free to play as many matches as you can — if your match begins during the event hours, it contributes to your score, even if it ends later.
### Winners and Their Rewards
What’s in store for your efforts? The top ten players with the highest Tourney scores will each nab 2,500 My Nintendo Gold Points. Meanwhile, the next 90 top scorers will receive a cool 1,000 Gold Points. However, do keep your country settings steady within the participating countries, as any changes might lead to disqualification. And remember, fair play is key; any attempts to cheat or exploit bugs can lead to account suspension and disqualification from the competition. The prizes aren’t transferable, and there are no alternative rewards.
### Prize Distribution
Once the dust has settled, Nintendo will ensure the winners receive their Gold Points through their Nintendo Account within two weeks after the event wraps up. To check if your prize has arrived, simply log into your account and view the My Nintendo Point Log.
