Sony is kicking off January 2025 with a new round of PS Plus Premium discount offers, albeit with a twist. These deals are specifically tailored for selected members, meaning the discount amount and expiry dates can differ for each person. There’s no clear criteria on who gets the discounts, so it’s a bit of a surprise for eligible users.
The gaming community has been buzzing with reports over the past week about PS Plus Premium subscribers snagging up to 25% off on their annual renewals, dropping the price to $120 from the usual $160. It seems, though, that this deal is reserved solely for those who already have an active subscription, especially those nearing the end of their term. If you’ve let your membership lapse, you might not be in luck this time.
Some subscribers have mentioned being able to stack their savings with the 25% offer, although it’s important to note that we haven’t seen similar discounts being extended to other membership tiers just yet.
