There’s a buzz in the air about Fortnite possibly dropping more Metal Gear content soon, likely to coincide with the upcoming Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. The Metal Gear series made its debut in Fortnite during Chapter 5, Season 1 back in January 2024.

A well-known Fortnite leaker hints at this exciting possibility of further Metal Gear collaboration. Fortnite is no stranger to crossovers, bringing in characters from iconic franchises across films, comics, and video games. Details remain sparse, but speculation is rife that it could tie in with Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, potentially featuring skins of Naked Snake/Big Boss, Eva, or even The Boss. Other fans are hoping for appearances by Raiden’s cyborg incarnation from Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, or perhaps Quiet from Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is a modern remake of Metal Gear Solid 3, telling the tale of Naked Snake, aka Big Boss, on a tense mission within the jungle to thwart a Soviet superweapon. After much anticipation, its release date has now been set for August 28, 2025. A Fortnite tie-in could serve as perfect promo material for Konami, though it’s worth noting this is all speculative at present.
