Oh wow, so KRAFTON just dropped this big ol’ Update 36.1 for PUBG: Battlegrounds – you know, the good ol’ battle royale game? It’s on PC for now, but console folks gotta chill till June 19. Feels like Christmas came early for PC players, but console gamers are like, “Why do we have to wait?” Life’s just not fair, right?
Anyway, PUBG’s been hanging on since 2017. It’s kinda like that steadfast friend who never leaves your side. Yeah, I know the battle royale scene’s been crowded with wannabes coming in and out, but PUBG just keeps rocking on Steam. I mean, hundreds of thousands still play it. So okay, this update brings new Ranked tiers—Crystal and Survivor. Survivor’s the top of the food chain now, apparently. And for some reason, they thought, “Hey, why not bring Ranked Duo Mode to all regions?” Maybe they just felt like getting a bit mushy and inclusive. Surprise, surprise!
And oh, bringing back the Black Market – but it’s a limited-time offer. It’s like that pop-up carnival that disappears before you can even plan your weekend around it. You got till July 14 (or 22 for consoles) to grab them shiny cosmetics. Feels a bit like playing hard to get, no?
Weapons got some love too—well, for better or worse. The AUG got a little slap on the wrist with damage and aim punch reduced. Poor VSS, finally gets a buff!
