A trio of top-notch action adventure games is, can you believe it, on sale. Like, big time. We’re talking about a huge 60% off over at the PS Store, but only if you hop on it quick. Meanwhile, Rockstar Games? They’re pulling the ol’ price-hike stunt in some places. But guess what? Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition’s now just $23.99 in this whack PS Store sale. Do the math, it’s wild.
You know, the Grand Theft Auto Trilogy PS Store deal is kind of a steal for three games that everyone just seems to love. Grove Street Games cooked up this bundle of GTA III, GTA: Vice City, and GTA: San Andreas — classics, right? At first, though… disaster! Performance hiccups all over the place. Rockstar Games had to jump in to save it! Even so, the trilogy sold like crazy. I mean, it’s GTA. What’d you expect?
And here we are. Today, issues seem smoothed out and everything’s running like a dream. At least, on the PS5 and PS4. I tried them myself and, yup, pretty slick now.
There’s this one line from the PS Store that sticks with me: “Play the genre-defining classics of the original trilogy updated for a new generation — now with across-the-board enhancements.” Sounds fancy, huh? They did some magic with the lighting, textures, and all that jazz. Oh, and now there are GTA V-style controls – super neat.
Oh hey, if you’re a GTA+ member, guess what? You can snag the trilogy with your membership, no extra bucks needed. But no dice if you’re on PS Plus — you’re outta luck there. Total bummer, right? Anyway, go nab it while you can. Who knows how long this deal’s gonna last?
