Hey, just a quick heads-up for all you Xbox lovers out there on Xbox Series X|S and Windows! Some exciting chaos is brewing—I’m talking about this Rematch – Final Beta thing launching today, May 28. Want in? Better hurry; it’s like a party with limited invitations. First come, first served, folks.
About this Game (or Attempt At One)
So, Rematch—no clue why it caught my attention, but here goes. Imagine football, but not your dad’s Sunday kind. It’s third-person, skill-based madness with every kick, tackle, and goal being your own moment of glory. And guess what? No player stats. Feels weird, right? It’s all about raw skill and, well, figuring out how not to embarrass yourself in front of teammates. Arcade vibes meet real mechanics, with matches so fast-paced you might forget to blink. Built for online play, dive into competitive modes and seasonal craziness, and try not to chuck your controller across the room in frustration.
If you really can’t resist diving deep, there’s always the Rematch Official Website to check out.
Playtest Details: Gotta Keep Track Somehow
- Start: Wednesday, May 28, 5 AM PT (Don’t ask me to convert time zones; it’s too early for that math.)

Joining the Wild Ride
- Log into that fancy Xbox Series X|S or trusty Windows PC.

- Sit tight for it to register, and voilà, you’re directed to install REMATCH – Closed Beta.
Just a teeny note: Spaces are like gold here—scarce and valuable, so hop on it quick.
Feedback—AKA How Not to Rage Alone
Run into glitches? Yeah, it happens. Don’t keep it to yourself—be THAT person who reports:
- Hold the home button on your Xbox controller. (Might need a drink for steadiness if things break down.)
- Choose Report a problem.
- Head to Games category and Rematch subcategory.
- Grill them with your findings and hope for the best.
