Oh man, where do I even start with this? So, there’s this game, “Grit and Valor – 1949.” And guess what? VR is jumping in on the action soon. Yeah, they’ve decided to throw the whole roguelite chaos right onto Quest, PSVR 2, and SteamVR headsets. Imagine that.
Let’s talk basics real quick. This game popped up earlier this year on PC. You get to play around with these cute little mech squads—I know, I know, tiny mechs, big battles—take down the Evil Axis forces. Europe’s got to be liberated and all, and you’re the one to do it. Just a typical day, right?
Mech combat styles? Yep, you choose. Pilots are picked, mechs get pimped out with slick parts like cockpits and engines, and weapons, of course—can’t forget that. I kinda love the smell of a good upgrade in the morning.
So, here’s the thing. Milky Tea Studios, who first crafted this setup, teamed with the XR pros at nDreams. Seriously, we’re talking VR wizards here. They’re the brains behind making the whole battlefield command thing happen in VR. You’re in the thick of it, moving mechs, planning your next step. Something about this setup feels… tangible? I dunno, can’t quite shake it.
Circle the date: August 21st. That’s when you can dive in. This baby’s heading to the Horizon Store for Quest 2, also to the PlayStation Store for PS5 and PSVR 2. They’re even throwing a PC VR update through Steam. Free update too, which is nice because who doesn’t love free stuff?
Anyway, if you’re into mech mayhem and VR thrills, this might just be something to watch out for. Or not. I mean, who can say for sure? But, hey, it’s got my curiosity all tangled up.
